Our Rooms
We cater for children from 6 weeks to 5 years
We have three dedicated outside play areas including a covered area for the children to enjoy outside activities in accordance with Early Years Foundation Stage. There is a separate Baby Unit for under 2’s along with flexible Nursery and Pre-school Rooms for 2-3’s and 3-5’s respectively, all supplied by our in-house kitchen for home cooked food.
Every child is allocated a key person who supports them between drop off to pick up. Yours child’s key person will be responsible for their individual weekly planning and next steps, as well as helping parents to continue to building on what the children have learnt at home.
BABY UNIT
0 - 2 YRS
We have a wide variety of educational toys, books, puzzles, construction resources and sensory materials to stimulate the children’s senses and challenge their minds. For new children starting with us, we focus on building consistency and stability between home and nursery to ensure a smooth transition for the whole family and a solid foundation to create an extended family relationship between ourselves.

NURSERY
2 - 3 YRS
Here we encourage the children to lead their own learning, using construction, role play, small world play, musical instruments and natural resources. Numbers, colours, letters and shapes are used for the children to have fun in an engaging way.
Yours child’s key person is responsible for carrying out carefully planned activities to help them further their learning, as well as build on their social and emotional development. We create a strong partnership with parents to ensure a smooth transition, either as a new starter or in moving up from the Baby Unit. We understand that parents are the child’s first educator so strive to provide you with the ideas for home, alongside advice and guidance around toilet training and behaviour management.
PRE-SCHOOL
3 - 5 YRS
We use the children’s ever growing knowledge to prepare them for their next adventure in school by instilling confidence, independence and encouraging curiosity and exploration through their play.
We work alongside parents to get their child school ready by suggesting activities to help with letter and number recognition, phonics and early reading and writing materials.
OUTSIDE AREAS
ALL AGES
We have three separate safe and secure areas:- large garden, soft play surface and undercover artificial grass. The natural grassed garden incorporates a shaded decking area along with bark play pit, activity boards including chalk boards, threading boards, number and letter boards. It has a large wooden play house with kitchen facilities and a zoned gravel construction corner.
The soft play are particularly is suitable for the under 2’s for the use of baby walkers and trundle trucks, whilst the older children can learn to ride bikes and trikes safely. It also has a range of activity boards and appropriate climbing equipment along with a large playhouse. This area also incorporates separate “pebbled beach area” for water/sand and construction play. The undercover artificial grass area adjacent to the nursery building incorporates a “mud kitchen” water-shutes and sand play. It also has a planting/growing bed for the children t develop their nurturing experiences.
